FREE Support to help grow your business

Do you know that Luton Borough Council are giving away FREE support to grow your business?

If you are an established small or medium enterprise (SME) in Luton and looking to expand, would help getting into contracts worth up to £200K be useful?

We know the tendering process is no picnic.  It’s complex.  You need to know where to look and how to identify tendering opportunities, and you need to be able to complete the documents appropriately. We understand that winning tenders will lead to guaranteed income that is why we want to provide you with intensive support to help you find contracts, become tender ready and help you complete the actual tender documents giving the best chance to win and therefore grow your business.

We want to work with 10 local businesses to develop their skills and expertise by offering one-to-one expert guidance by industry specialists and intensive support throughout the process.  Skills acquired will allow you to continuously apply for tenders.

Closure of Business Link Voucher Service

Don’t forget that with the regional Business Link Service closing on Nov 25th, you only have up until Oct 28th to use your start-up or business advice vouchers so if you are lucky enough to have received your vouchers (as these are now no longer being issued) make sure you get your appointment booked in with us on 020 3411 7888 ASAP!!

 

 

 


New ‘green’ loan scheme to help SME’s

“Driving green growth in the UK is key to our economic recovery”  (Tom Delay, Chief Executive of the Carbon Trust)

The Carbon Trust and Siemens are launching a loan scheme worth £550m over three years to enable businesses to buy green equipment.

From today (1 April 2011) all businesses will be able to apply for finance from the scheme from to enable them to invest in cost-effective energy efficiency equipment or other low carbon technologies, such as new efficient lighting and biomass heating.

So why wait any longer to make the switch…?
