Delivering World class customer service

Making your business stand out from the rest can be challenging in a crowded market place. Put your business into a search engine and how many other businesses are offering the products or services that you offer? Delivering world class service will make you stand out, absolutely. Delivering world class service will retain your existing customers and attract in the new ones you want. We all know what we want when we are customers but how often do we deliver that to our customers. This interactive workshop will develop the skills in you and your people to be customer focussed always.

Winning the sale

Getting the all important sale is what all businesses are striving for Sometimes recognising when a customer is actually likely to be a customer is the first step. Keeping in mind the 3 SW’s – some will, some won’t and some will later helps enormously. This workshop offers a common sense approach to selling without any complicated sales models. People will always buy people first. How often have you bought something from someone you didn’t connect with!

You and your staff need to be able to deal with queries, objections and be able to win the sale. This workshop will help you develop more confidence when selling your goods and services and bring the fun back into selling

Negotiation – buying and selling at the right price

Margins are all about getting the best price from your suppliers and selling at the best price to your customer. Simple. How often is it that businesses manage to suddenly find that they are busy but not making the right margin. Being able to get the right outcome from a negotiation is about getting a deal that meets your needs and those of the other party. This workshop identifies the key stages of negotiation; indicating the best actions at each stage and also pointing out the pitfalls too. It covers preparation for the negotiation, planning and undertaking the meetings whether it id face to face or on the phone

Presenting for Impact

In all organisations the time comes when a presentation is needed. This presentation may be to the team, to our bosses or customers, to secure that fabulous deal, or to financiers or when networking. If it is your favourite activity…it’s not many peoples?

Often, it is the activity many team leaders, managers and other staff dread. Being confident and able to present accurately and for results is a crucial skill for everyone at work. Those people who can deliver powerful and compelling presentations can really make the difference in their organisations.

This workshop will help everyone however inexperienced to plan and structure a presentation for the results they want. It will give you practical tips on dealing with the IT aspects; what to put in and what to leave out. It will also give you strategies to deal with your feelings about the event, tips on how to create rapport with everyone in your audience and how to get your message across, clearly and in an lively way.

It also will give you hints and tips from the ‘frontline’ about how to deal with questions, difficult people in the audience and how to manage nerves.

 Lead and motivate your team

Do managers get the teams they deserve or is it the other way round?… do teams get the Managers they deserve. Its neither one or the other. normally it’s a bit of both. Becoming an inspirational manager is within the reaches of all of us. Often in small businesses people find themselves suddenly’ in charge ‘ and face the challenges that come with managing a team. Its very tempting to carry on with the old day job, living in hope that the admin of running the team is all that’s required. Resources are often fully stretched and making the decision to lead from the front can be daunting

Many managers with high levels of responsibility still end up doing work’ in the business’ rather than’ on the business’ in terms of managing the team. This workshop will introduce you to some simple tools and techniques to lead your team and increase the team and your motivation to succeed.

This workshop will identify those actions and behaviours which will bring the best out of the team and you and help you develop management confidence with all members of your team

Appraisal skills

If asked would all of your team be able to tell someone else how their boss thought they were performing? How frequently do we hear that the only time there is any ‘feedback ‘ is when there is a problem. Giving and receiving feedback on a regular basis is one of the cornerstones of successful organisations and individuals. Feedback should be on going and summarised regularly through a more formal meeting

Formal feedback can be difficult to deliver and unnerving to receive. This workshop will help managers and team leaders devise and implement an appraisal process that staff will welcome rather than dread.

The session is highly interactive and will encourage delegates to take a positive attitude to undertaking appraisals, and to be able to give more formal feedback with more confidence

Leadership & Management Personal Development Plans

We all need help at times, particularly those who either run their own business or who are planning to climb that ladder to senior management.  To other people you might appear calm and in control but the reality is that those in managerial or leadership positions usually have the least amount of support when it comes to moving onwards and upwards.  So how many hats do you have to wear as a leader?  So much to do and ever-diminishing time!

We all know that businesses need to plan.   But it is important to remember that so do the people who run them.  A Personal Development Plan (PDP) is essential because nobody can be an expert in every aspect of running a business.  A PDP will enable you to identify where your weaknesses lie and what you have to do to strengthen these areas.  As part of their drive towards economic recovery, the Government is now supporting senior managers and business owners with financial assistance by helping to fund the cost of engaging training, mentoring and support organisations such as ours.

We can give you all the information about accessing this funding and are happy to talk to you about your own leadership and management dilemmas, so why not call us on 020 3411 7888 or e-mail info@westminstercompliance.co.uk?

Closure of Business Link Voucher Service
